Plant a Tree for Me
S3 Technologies is a proud participant in the Dell initiative: we want to play a greater role in the protection of the global environment.
For each computer and server we sell, S3 contributes an amount calculated to offset the carbon dioxide emitted for that equipment over the next 3 years.
This money will be donated to the "Plant a Tree for Me" program and the additional fee is not passed on to our customers.
S3 has always been a proponent of taking concrete actions against the abuse and misuse of our natural resources and pollution of all kinds, particularly with regards to the use of IT products. This mindset was a driving factor leading us to the implementation of our biannual recycling drives.
S3 Technologies salutes Dell's initiative and we value the opportunity to be even greener in our approach to doing business.
This is one more way for us to show how much we care about the environment.

S3 Technologies in Vancouver
S3 Technologies is now the proud owner of offices in downtown Vancouver.
Located at 910-A Richards Street, suite 205, the office will serve as home-base for our western-bound staff while the primary home office remains our Montreal office.
It was felt necessary to expand to Vancouver in order to better serve our current customers and consolidate our Western Canada market in the upcoming year.
This marks a logical step in our bid to become a recognized leader and pan-Canadian IT service provider.

Prosperous Summer
S3 Technologies is now an official IBM partner, and a Blackberry licence reseller. Also, we added a new member to our team, due to our increasing demand!
Finally, we achieved our second recycling drive on May 22nd!
Twice as much computer junk was recycled by our team than last time.

Green Certification
We want to announce that we have achieved, as of February 12, 2009, the level 1 “Here, We Recycle” certification.
This certification, an initiative and campaign from Recyc-Québec, is awarded to enterprises, companies, and institutions which make themselves sensitive to their generation of residual waste and commit to the implementation of measures aimed at reducing and managing them to help in protecting the environment.
We are proud of this achievement and are already working hard at reaching level two.

Recycling Day
We achieved our very first recycling day on December 12th, 2009.
It was a big success and convinced us to keep providing this service to all of our clients twice a year.
4 members of our team went themselves to pick up retired computer part at various customers’ location and packed them in a rented truck.
At the end of the day, the truck was brought to Geep Ecosys, where it was properly processed.
