Computer Equipment Recycling

S3 is confronted daily with a growing problem that affects almost all industrialized countries: the explosion of the amount electronic waste. Computers represent a larger portion of the landfill every year and the toxic waste contained in computer parts is a significant threat to the environment and to our health.

We’ve decided to do our part by encouraging the proper disposal of computers by organizing two annual electronic waste collects. We encourage our customers to keep their old computers, screens and servers. Twice a year we show up with trucks and bring the parts to a recycling/disposal center.

This serves two purposes:

• We ensure that the parts that are still usable are recycled into refurbished computers and that the ones that are obsolete are transformed into raw materials that can be used in different industries.
• We also facilitate the recycling of corporate computers by offering free data removal to our current customers who wish to give away their old PC’s.
