Position: Helpdesk Technician

Availability: Immediate

S3 Technologies Inc., firm specialized in network maintenance, is looking for a full time helpdesk technician to support its clients in the Montreal region.

We are seeking someone who has experience in Windows end-user support on XP/Vista/7, server maintenance and network configuration.

The position is located in our downtown Montreal office. The succesful candidate will offer remote technical support on many different Windows environment applications. The work hours will be Monday to Friday from 7h00 to 15h30 or 10h30 to 19h00.

Required Skills

  • Perfectly bilingual
  • 2-3 years of experience in technical support in a Windows environment
  • Technical degree in network or computer maintenance
  • Microsoft certification prefered
  • Experience with:
    • Windows XP/Vista
    • Windows 2003/2008 server
    • MS Exchange
    • IIS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
    • Firewall and VPN configuration
  • Dynamic personality with strong customer service skills
  • Confidence on the phone
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professional appearance
  • Experience in MAC or UNIX environments a plus
