S3 Technologies Inc. is a Montreal firm specializing in the implementation and maintenance of IT networks and is looking for a System Administrator to manage our customer's ERP infrastructure. We are searching for a candidate with experience in maintaining and configuring a Windows domain with Active Directory and SQL servers. The candidate will also provide level II support to our remote technicians. The candidate's daily tasks will include, but not be restricted to, the planning of software updates, verification and improvement of performance issues, resolving technical problems submitted by the customer, server maintenance, and interface with our customer's multiple IT suppliers.

The work is primarily conducted in our downtown Montreal office with occasional trips to our customer's location.

Required Skills

• Perfectly bilingual (absolute must)
• 5 to 7 years experience in IT (in a similar capacity)
• Diploma in IT or related field
• Microsoft certification (MCSA or MSCE recommended)
• Extensive knowledge:
  • Windows 2003/2008 servers
  • MS SQL
  • Active Directory
  • Scripting language
• Experience in management of relationships with various IT suppliers
• Good communicator, written and oral
• Dynamic personality, self-motivated and independent
• Professional appearance
• Mastery of Dynamics AX or Citrix environment a definite plus
