The Role

The Human Resources Manager will play a crucial role in the company’s growth by actively contributing to the acquisition of exceptional talent, the professional development of individuals at S3, and the promotion and maintenance of the organizational culture. By fostering effective communication, they will also ensure internal cohesion and support team engagement within S3.

This person will be responsible for managing all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding new employees, performance management, and talent development. As an inspiring leader, the Human Resources Manager will promote a positive company culture, ensuring the integration and progression of all employees at S3.

This vital role will support the growth of our company by ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the best talent. The person in this position will be an integral part of the company’s leadership team and will work closely with the HR Coordinator to carry out the tasks outlined below.

Success Criteria

By 6 months

The Human Resources Manager will have:

  • Established strong relationships with all managers and gained a deep understanding of the company’s culture and needs.
  • Developed and implemented a talent development plan to address the company’s short- and medium-term needs.
  • Taken charge of internal communications to ensure consistent and regular information flow at S3.
  • Reviewed existing HR processes, including recruitment, employee onboarding, training, and performance management.

By 12 months

The Human Resources Manager will have:

  • Contributed to creating a positive and engaging work environment, reflected by improved employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Reviewed and implemented a strategy to develop and maintain the company culture.
  • Established training and skill development programs.
  • Developed robust HR policies and procedures to support the continued growth of the company.

Main Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage the recruitment process, including identifying staffing needs, posting job openings, screening candidates, and onboarding new employees.
  2. Develop and promote a positive company culture, work closely with the HR Coordinator for planning corporate events, and handle internal communications.
  3. Advise and support managers and employees on all HR-related matters.
  4. Develop and implement HR processes, strategies, and initiatives aligned with the company’s overall goals.
  5. Ensure the company’s compliance with labor laws and regulations.
