We are now the largest, long-standing MSP (Managed Service Provider) serving the greater Montreal and Toronto areas. Our approach is part of the reason our very first clients are still with us and we plan on keeping it this way.
The role
S3 Technologies is currently offering an excellent career opportunity for an PROJECT ANALYST. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, preparing and executing many types of IT projects for our clients.
What success looks like
BY 6 MONTHS
You completely understand the internal tools and processes. You have successfully passed a 3 month probation period. You are working closely with the project managers and account management team in the successful delivery of the projects. You are coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
BY 12 MONTHS
You now can execute multiple types of projects. You have built relationships with many important clients. As an expert in many types of technologies, you are able to coordinate and creatively strategize on larger types of clients and projects. You are overseeing the overall technical execution of the projects you are assigned on.
Top 5 job responsibilities
- Establish the project technical work plan
Once a project is approved, you will be responsible to develop a technical workplan based on the initial scope that was given to the client. This will include the various steps needed to deliver the project within budget and timeline. - Provide an analysis
You will also be responsible to gather all the necessary information and details on the IT infrastructure you are working on so that you can follow your plan accordingly - Install and configure many types of IT solutions ranging from firewalls, switches, Office 365, antispam, backups, etc
You will be required to put in place many types of IT solutions, following industry most rigorous standards - Ensure proper documentation and monitoring
In every project executed, documentation and monitoring will evidently need to be updated in our internal systems. - Offer support to teams responsible of the deliverable of services.
Finally, to ensure a proper knowledge transfer to our support teams, you will be required to communicate the important changes to our support teams.
