Your Role at S3
As a Systems Administrator – Projects, you become:
The technical owner of your projects
A technical expert who can analyze, structure, and deliver
You don’t just track a project — you analyze, plan, and execute.
Your Day-to-Day Impact
Define the technical project plan
- Develop technical work plans based on defined scope
- Manage your own workload of approximately 5 to 10 concurrent projects
- Organize your work autonomously and with structure
Analyze and understand client environments
- Gather the information needed about client infrastructures
- Adapt your plan to technical realities
- Identify risks and constraints
Deploy concrete solutions
- Install and configure technologies including firewalls, switches, Office 365, backups, anti-spam, and more
- Implement a wide range of IT solutions following the most rigorous industry standards
Ensure quality and continuity
- Maintain complete, up-to-date documentation on every project delivered
- Track projects in internal systems
- Effectively transfer knowledge to support teams by communicating key changes
What We’re Looking For
- DEC / AEC in IT or equivalent
- 5–10 years of experience in IT as a systems administrator, with 3+ years executing IT projects
- Hands-on experience configuring, installing, and deploying solutions such as Active Directory, LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, wireless, Exchange, Office 365, etc.
- Strong French communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience with Cisco, Dell, and Fortinet
- Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware and software)
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell)
- Ability to travel to client sites, primarily in the Greater Montreal area
- Experience with change management, including risk analysis and mitigation
Assets: MSP experience, bilingualism, PowerShell, and certifications (Microsoft, Azure, Fortinet, etc.)
