Work From Anywhere: My Essential Gear to Stay Productive on the Go
If you travel often for work like I do, you know how hard it can be to stay productive in hotels, airports, and other temporary setups. After lots of trial and error, I’ve found the perfect combination that lets me work almost as comfortably as I do at the office or at home. Here are my must-haves:
My Go-To Kit for Working While Traveling
- Laptop – The core of my mobile office. If I’m short on time or space, I just use my laptop to get started.
- Mobile screen (same size as my laptop screen) – When I have a little more time, this portable monitor is a game-changer. For me, working without two screens is unthinkable!
- Compact wireless mouse – Mine gives three hours of use from just one minute of charging. A lifesaver in a pinch.
- Wireless earbuds + backup wired set – A good headset is crucial for calls and focus. I always carry a backup pair of wired earbuds just in case I forget to charge the wireless ones.
- Travel backpack – With a laptop compartment that’s easy to access during airport security checks.
If I’m gone a little longer, I also pack a compact wireless keyboard.
